Governors

At Bond we have an amazing panel of Governors who are committed to working with the school to ensure that it delivers an excellent quality education whilst maintaining effective ways to promote the interests of our pupils.

Meet our Governors

Chair of Governors - Sandra Peddy

Sandra Peddy (Chair of Governors) is a Senior Finance professional who has worked mainly in Interior Design/Architectural practices and currently in the Arts sector. She has been a school governor for more than fifteen years with experience across Primary and Secondary schools and also pupil referral units

Vice-Chair - Afua Boaten Busia

I am a retired mother and grandmother who is very passionate about education, both formal and informal. I love working with and for young people.

My background is in admin/management and I have worked in international development organisations such as the United Nations and the World Bank, as well as international non-governmental organisations in the UK, South Africa and Ghana. My position prior to my retirement was Operations Manager for Student Support and Resources at a residential college for women. I also took pupils in years 7 to 13 for extra curricular and enrichment classes at an international school in Ghana for six months.

Co-opted Governor - Barry Tierney - Chair - Finance Committee

I believe strongly that every child should have equal opportunities growing up and also access to a good education. As a governor, I hope that I can use my skills as a qualified accountant and experience to provide valuable input that will help ensure that the objectives of the school are achieved and consequently the children of that school reap the benefits by seeing children achieve success.

Local Authority appointed Governor - Cllr Daniel Holden

I am a chemical engineer and work for an international petrochemical company. I am a big fan of science and do this everyday. I am keen to promote science and maths education in schools, which is one reason why I am a governor. I am also a councillor in the London Borough of Merton and I firmly believe in civic duty. I think education is really important and I want children at Bond to have the same chances as I have had.

  Co-opted Governor - Andrew Brundle

Co-opted Governor - Alice Boaten

I am a Regional Manager in retail, and Woman of the Year award winner. I am keen to use my skills, not only to support the community I live and work in, but the very school that started me on my educational journey as it did my daughter many years later. I am a proud ex Bond pupil who knows the importance and richness of ensuring children get the best educational start they can.

Co-opted Governor - Anatoly Reeves

Anatoly has spent his entire professional career in the world of education focused on guiding young people towards achieving their academic ambitions. Having worked as a senior education consultant and private academic tutor across KS2 and KS3, he is passionate about instilling confidence and success in young people. He is committed to embracing the diversity of this fantastic school and hopes to work with both parents and staff to uphold its values.

Parent Governor - Rana Lambert

Parent Governor - Jennifer Brown

I am Senior HR professional who has worked within local Government, Schools, Colleges, and Universities. I have a passion for education and as such have been a school governor for 5 years, I have provided classroom support, mentored and supported others.

I support the values of Bond and believe it is a great environment for children to learn, grow and thrive.
